RainSoundMixer is a free online rain sound mixer that lets you blend twelve layers of rain, thunder and ambient noise into your own custom soundscape — no downloads, no sign-up.
Our mission
Most rain sound apps play the same recording on a loop. After a few minutes your brain notices the pattern and tunes back into whatever you were trying to escape. We built RainSoundMixer to fix that — a real-time mixer that gives you a unique storm every session, tuned exactly for the moment: sleep, deep focus, meditation, or a cozy evening in.
What RainSoundMixer does
RainSoundMixer combines high-quality rain sound effects — light drizzle, heavy rain sound, distant showers, rolling thunder, wind, fireplace, ocean, stream, café hum and calibrated white/pink/brown noise — into a single mixer. Every fader is instant. Presets get you started; a sleep timer fades things out gently; the Pomodoro mode softens the mix during breaks. Every mix is captured in the URL, so sharing your perfect storm is one click.
Private by design
RainSoundMixer runs entirely in your browser. There is no account to create, no data uploaded, and no tracking of what you mix or when you listen. Read more on our privacy page.
